Chicken livers with rice ingredients

  • 4 oz Mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 lb Livers, chicken
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c pepper, green, chopped
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 T Butter (or marg.), melted
  • 2 T Catsup
  • Rice, hot cooked

Cooking Chicken livers with rice

1. Drain mushrooms, reserving liquid.
2. Add enough water to liquid to make ¾ cup; set aside.
3. Sautei chicken livers and green pepper in butter until livers are browned.
4. Stiri in mushrooms, reserved liquid, and catsup; bring to a boil.
5. Reducei heat.
6. Cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
7. Serve over rice.
