Chicken giblet stock ingredients

  • 6 c water
  • Heart, gizzard and neck of chicken
  • 1 small Onion quartered
  • 1 small Carrots, sliced
  • 2 large Fresh parsley sprigs
  • 2 large Fresh marjoram sprigs
  • 2 large Fresh thyme sprigs
  • 1 Bay leaf

Cooking Chicken giblet stock

1. Combine all ingredients in heave large saucepan over medium high heat.
2. Bring to boil.
3. Reducei heat to medium.
4. Cover and simmer 1 hour.
5. Straini.
6. Can be prepared 1 day ahead, cover and refrigerate.
7. Goes with chicken with parsley and thyme stuffing and roasted potatoes.
