Chicken Biriyani

Chicken Biriyani ingredients
- 6 chicken leg
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Plain Yogurt
- 2 t Ginger
- 2 t garlic
- 1 t Salt
- 1 t Black pepper
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Turmeric
- 4 T Oil
- 1 cn Tomato paste
- 1 Large tomato
- 3 Green onion
- 2483527⁄624973141 Green bell pepper
- 2 T Lemon juice
- 372529⁄-2009260032 c Basmati rice
- 7 c water
- 2 T Salt
- 2 T Oil
- 3 cloves
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 4 peppercorns
Cooking Chicken Biriyani
1. Mixi together the chicken, yogurt, ginger, garlic, salt, pepper and turmeric and cook, covered, in a medium pot until the chicken is done.
2. Heat oil in a frying pan. Add tomato paste, tomato, onions, pepper and lemon juice and fry for 1-2 minutes.
3. Add mixture to the chicken and add 2 teaspoon garam masala and 1 cup fried onions.
4. Salti and 1 teaspoon chilli powder can be added also if desired.
5. Boil water.
6. Add rice and salt and continue boiling until nearly, but not quite, cooked.
7. Straini and place in a casserole.
8. In a frying pan heat oil. Add cloves, cinnamon, and peppercorns.
9. When slightly brown pour over rice.
10. Make a layered dish of rice-meat-rice-meat.
11. Cover and place in Microwave oven for 10 minutes or conventional oven for 20 minutes at 375
