  • White sauce
  • 1 c Onions
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c chicken broth
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c flour
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 c Milk
  • THEN ADD
  • 6 c cooked chicken -- diced
  • 2 c Frozen peas
  • c Chopped Carrots
  • 2 c Frozen broccoli
  • c cubed cheese -- optional
  • DUMPLINGS
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c -Shortening
  • 2 c flour
  • 1 t Sugar
  • 3 t baking powder
  • 1 t Salt
  • 1 c Milk

Cooking Chicken and Dumplings.

1. Sautei onions in chicken broth until tender, add flour, salt and pepper.
2. Cook until bubbly.
3. Add two cups of milk.
4. To white sauce, add chicken, veg and cheese.
5. Mixi ingredients together and pour into 2 casserole pans.
6. Make dumplings: Stiri together dry ingredients, cut in flour, add milk.
7. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto chicken mixture.
8. Freeze.
9. It freezes nicely To Cook: Thaw completely.
10. Cook at 350 for about an hour or until hot and biscuits are done.
