Chicken - vegetable gumbo ingredients

  • 1 t Dried Italian Seasoning

  • 2 cn WHOLE TOMATOES *
  • 372529⁄164516864 cn chicken broth
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Dry sherry
  • 1 t CHICKEN FLAVORED BOUILLON
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Pepper
  • 2 c CUBED CHICKEN BREASTS **

Cooking Chicken - vegetable gumbo

1. * whole salt free canned tomatoes, chopped, undrained ** about 1 lb. of chicken, skinned, boned, fully cooked remove tips and stems from okra, cut into ΒΌ inch slices.
2. Set aside for later.
3. Coat a large kettle with cooking spray and heat to medium high heat.
4. Add onions, celery, peppers and garlic.
5. Cook for 5 minutes.
6. Add all remaining ingredients except for the chicken and cook for about 1 hour or until the vegetables are tender.
7. Add chicken; stir well.
8. Remove from heat; cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
