Chick pea loaf

Chick pea loaf ingredients
- 3 c Chick peas
- 2 T Vegatable oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 large Onion, chopped
- 2 Celery stalks, chopped
- 2 Carrot, finely chopped
- 1⁄4 c Tamari
- 1 t Cumin powder
- 1 Salt to taste
- 1⁄4 t Turmeric
- 3 T tahini
Cooking Chick pea loaf
1. Place soaked chick peas in a pot & cook for 50 minutes to 1 hour, till soft.
2. Drain, save the stock & mash well.
3. Heat ol in large skillet & saute garlic & onions for 5 minutes.
4. Add celery, carrot, tamari, 2 tsp parsley, cumin, salt & turmeric.
5. Sautei till vegetables are tender.
6. Add to the mashed chick peas & mix well.
7. Add the tahini & mix well.
8. Place in a large baking pan or two small loaf pans & bake at 375f for 45 minutes.
9. Serve with a salad &/or vegetables on the side.
