Chick pea and basmati rice salad ingredients

  • 3⁄4 c Cooked Chick peas
  • 1 c cooked Basmati rice
  • 1⁄2 Red bell pepper, diced
  • 1⁄2 Green bell pepper, diced
  • 1⁄2 Yellow bell pepper, diced
  • 4 Scallions, sliced
  • Salt to taste
  • Vinaigrette
  • 2 t Toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 t Sesame oil
  • 1⁄4 t Cumin
  • 2 T Lemon juice
  • 1 T olive oil

Cooking Chick pea and basmati rice salad

1. ts salt toss together chick peas, rice, bell peppers, scallions in a large bowl.
2. Whiski together all the ingredients for the vinaigrette.
3. Tossi with salad & season to taste.
