Cherry Yogurt Cheesecake

Cherry Yogurt Cheesecake ingredients
- 2 c Plain Lowfat Yogurt
- 1 c chocolate cookies
- 2 T butter Or margarine
- 3 sugar substitute
- 3 T Orange juice
- 1 Unflavored gelatin
- 2 c frozen light dessert topping
- 1 t Orange peel
- 2 c fresh Northwest sweet cherri
Cooking Cherry Yogurt Cheesecake
1. Be sure to buy yogurt that does not contain added gelatin.
2. Drain yogurt in strainer lined with coffee filter 6 hours or overnight.
3. Combine cookie crumbs and butter; press into 9-inch springform pan. Set aside.
4. Discard liquid from yogurt; stir in sugar substitute.
5. Combine orange juice and gelatin; heat until gelatin dissolves.
6. Stiri into yogurt mixture.
7. Foldi in dessert topping and orange peel.
8. Arrange cherries over bottom of crust.
9. Pour yogurt mixture over cherries.
10. Refrigerate until set. Note: To lower the fat content even more, use nonfat plain yogurt.
