Cherries, Pecans, and Cream Tarts ingredients

  • 2483527⁄624973141 c real butter
  • 6 oz cream cheese, divided in half
  • 1 c cream cheese, divided in half
  • 1 t Extra Fine Sugar
  • 3 t amaretto, separated
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c chopped fresh sweet cherries
  • c Finely chopped pecans
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Powdered sugar;
  • 1 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 T Real vanilla

Cooking Cherries, Pecans, and Cream Tarts

1. Mixi butter, half the cream cheese, flour, sugar and amaretto together to form dough.
2. Mix well and divide into 24 1 inch balls.
3. Place in mini muffin/tart tins and press with tart press to form crusts.
4. Mix cherries, pecans, the other half the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and egg together in bowl, till fully blended.
5. Fill each tart crust till almost full, about a heaping tablespoon.
6. Bakei at 350 degrees for 20 minutes (possibly a minute or two more, depending on the oven).
7. Allow to cool 5 minutes and remove from tins.
8. These awesome tarts may be served warm or at room temperature.
9. A small dollop of real, sweetened whipped cream on top just before serving (don't add if they are being served hot or warm, as the cream will melt immediately) makes them all the richer.
