Chernobyl Chili ingredients
- 4 lb Ground beef
- 3 large onions, diced
- 2483527⁄624973141 c green peppers, diced
- 6 garlic clove, pressed
- 2 lb crushed tomatoes
- 1 lb whole tomatoes -- cut up
- 6 oz Tomato paste
- 372529⁄-2009260032 lb light red kidney beans -- not drained
- 2 T Brown sugar
- 3 T Sugar
- 4 T Chili powder
- 2 t MSG
- 2 t Cayenne pepper
- 1 t Salt
- 3 T Bacon grease
- water or beer
- garlic Powder
Cooking Chernobyl Chili
1. 1. In a large microwave container, brown meat, onions, gren pepper, and garlic for 15 minutes on full power.
2. Drain off and reserve a cup of two of liquid.
3. Bre ak up any remianing large chunks of meat.
4. 2. Add remianing ingredients except t omato paste and cook on full power for 30 minutes covered.
5. Stiri and taste.
6. 3. C ook for 1 hour at 70% power, uncovered.
7. Stir and taste at half hour intervals.
8. Add water as necessary.
9. 4. Add tomato paste and reseved meat liquid.
10. Cook 30 mi nutes at 60% power, uncovered.
11. Stir and taste.
12. The chili is done and can be ser ved directly or decanted into a crockpot to simmer.
13. 5. Serve with shredded ched dar cheese, tabasco sauce, diced onions, hot chili oil, red pepper flakes, and hot dogs with rolls.
14. Your guest can microwave tehri own hot dogs and top with c hili and cheese!! NOTES: For TRUE CHERNOBYL- Class 20 megaton SS-19 chili, doub le the pepper, chili powder and MSG and add 30 minutes to the cooking in step.
