Cherimoya-orange parfait ingredients

  • 1 c Whipping cream
  • 1 c Sour cream
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Sugar
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t vanilla
  • 2 T Orange juice
  • 2 t Lemon juice
  • 1 ds Salt
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Pureed cherimoya
  • 2 t Grated orange peel
  • 2 c Cherimoya chunks
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 c Orange sections
  • Mint leaves

Cooking Cherimoya-orange parfait

1. For this recipe you will need 3 cherimoyas.
2. combine whipping cream and sour cream in a deep bowl, refrigerate with beaters until well chilled.
3. Beat creams until frothy; gradually add sugar, vanilla, fruit juices and salt.
4. Beat until quite stiff.
5. Blend in cherimoya puree and 1 teaspoon orange peel.
6. put half the cherimoya chunks in the bottom of 4 to 6 parfait glasses.
7. Spoon in a layer of cream, all the orange sections, a second layer of cream and the remaining cherimoya.
8. Top with a dollop of cream and garnish with remaining orange peel and mint leaves.
9. Serves 4 to 6.
