Cheese Secrets ingredients
- 1 c plus 2 Tbsp. Cheez Whiz
- 1⁄2 c water
- 1⁄4 c butter
- 1⁄8 t Salt
- 1⁄2 c flour
- 2 Eggs
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
Cooking Cheese Secrets
1. These simple appetizers are tasty and especially popular with kids.
2. They were a Pillsbury Bakei-Off winner in the 1960s.
3. Cheez Whiz is a cold pack processed cheese food that is found in jars in the supermarket.
4. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
5. In a heavy saucepan, combine water, butter and salt, and bring to a rolling boil.
6. Add flour all at once, stirring constantly until mixture forms a ball and cleans the sides of the pan. (You are making a cream puff dough) Remove from heat.
7. Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating vigorously after each till mixture is smooth and glossy.
8. Stiri in softened cream cheese and Cheez Whiz until blended.
9. Drop by teaspoons onto well greased cookie sheets.
10. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
11. Serve immediately.
