Cheese rice timbales ingredients

  • 1⁄4 c Finley chopped green pepper
  • 1 T Finely chopped onion
  • 2 T Cooking oil
  • 1 T flour
  • 3⁄4 c Milk
  • 1⁄2 t Salt
  • 1⁄2 t Dry mustard
  • 1⁄4 lb Cheese, grated
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 c Cooked rice

Cooking Cheese rice timbales

1. Cook green pepper and onion in oil until tender.
2. Blend in flour; add milk and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
3. Add the salt and mustard.
4. Remove from heat.
5. Add cheese and stir until it is melted.
6. If necessary, place pan over very low heat to melt cheese.
7. Stiri sauce into eggs; add rice.
8. Turn into greased custard cups.
9. Bakei at 350
