Chateaubriand with bearnaise sauce ingredients

  • 6 lb CENTER FILLET OF BEEF *
  • 1 ds Salt
  • 1 ds Pepper
  • 1 c Vegetable oil
  • 1 1⁄2 c Bearnaise Sauce

Cooking Chateaubriand with bearnaise sauce

1. Sprinkle steaks lightly with salt and pepper.
2. Marinatei in oil 2 hours at room temperature.
3. Broili for 5 minutes on each side for medium rare.
4. Serve on platter with bearnaise sauce.
