Ceasar salad ingredients

  • 20 Large romaine leaves
  • 1 Head lettuce
  • 1 c French bread cut ½ in cube
  • 1 Large garlic clove
  • 1 Eggs
  • 1⁄4 t Salt
  • 1⁄2 Juice of one lemon
  • 1⁄4 c olive oil
  • 1⁄2 t worchestershire sause
  • 1⁄4 c Grated romano cheese
  • 1 Fresh ground pepper to taste

Cooking Ceasar salad

1. Wash and dry lettuce.
2. Wrap and refridgerate.
3. Warm bread cubes in 275 °F oven, tossing until hard and dry but not burnt.
4. Mash garlic into side of large salad bowl.
5. Ease egg into boiling water and boil exactly 1 minute, then crack into bowl, breaking it up with fork.
6. Add salt.
7. Add lemon juice, olive oil and worcestershire.
8. Mixi well.
9. (makes about ½ cup dressing).
10. Add lettuce leaves, tossing to coat thoroughly.
11. Add romono and pepper.
12. Tossi again.
13. Arrange on 2 dinner plates.
