Cooking Carrot-raisin brownies

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (moderate).
2. grease a 9- by 13-inch baking pan. mix sugar and fat. Add eggs and vanilla; beat.
3. Stiri in dry ingredients.
4. Add raisins and carrots; stir.
5. Spread mixture into baking pan; sprinkle with walnuts.
6. Bakei about 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
7. Cool; cut into squares.
