Cantonese Fried Rice ingredients

  • 4 c cooked white rice (steamed)
  • 15 g dried chinese black mushrooms
  • 2 Medium onions, minced
  • 4 T butter
  • 1 T Cooking oil
  • 2483527⁄624973141 lb peeled and cooked shrimps
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Frozen green peas
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 2483527⁄624973141 lb cooked chicken breast, diced
  • 2 T soy sauce
  • 1 T Chopped green onion
  • Salt and pepper

Cooking Cantonese Fried Rice

1. Immerse the dried mushrooms in very hot water for about 30 minutes.
2. In a small pan, fry the eggs using half of the butter to make a thin omelette.
3. Slice into thin strips and set aside.
4. In a large frying pan or wok, saute the chopped onions in cooking oil and the other half of the butter.
5. Add the chinese mushrooms, shrimps, diced chicken and peas.
6. Add soy sauce, salt and pepper according to taste.
7. Sautei for about 2-3 minutes.
8. Add the cooked rice, eggs, and chopped green onions.
9. Stir-fryi until well mixed.
10. Serve in rice bowls.
