Cajun chicken pasta ingredients

  • 2 Boneless skinless chicken
  • -breast halves -- in thin st
  • 2 t Cajun seasoning
  • 2 T butter
  • 8 sli Green Pepper
  • 8 sli Sweet red peppers
  • 4 large Fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 Green onion, sliced
  • 1 c Heavy cream, (1 to 2)
  • (i used evaporated skim
  • -milk)
  • 1⁄4 t basil
  • 1⁄4 t Lemon pepper
  • 1⁄4 t Salt
  • 1⁄8 t garlic Powder
  • 1⁄8 t Pepper
  • 4 oz Linguini, cooked & drained
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • -optional

Cooking Cajun chicken pasta

1. Recipe by: a taste of home oct/nov p. 51 preparation time: 0:45 place chicken and cajun seasoning in a bowl or resealable plastic bag; toss or shake to coat.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, saute chicken in butter until almost tender, about 5-7 minutes.
3. Add peppers, mushrooms and onions; cook and stir for 2-3 minutes.
4. Reducei heat.
5. Add cream and seasonings; heat through.
6. Add linguine and toss; heat through.
7. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese if desired.
