Cabbage and apples

Cabbage and apples ingredients
- 2 T Salad Oil
- 1 Onion, coarsely chopped
- 1⁄4 c Cider vinegar
- 2 T Brown sugar
- 1⁄2 t Salt
- 1⁄2 t Pepper
- 2 Tart Green Apples, cored and thinly sliced
- 1 small Head Red Cabbage, coarsely chopped
Cooking Cabbage and apples
1. Heat oil in a large skillet.
2. Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
3. Add vinegar, sugar and salt and pepper to taste; stir to mix over moderate heat.
4. Add apple and cabbage, bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium.
5. Cover and let simmer until cabbage wilts, about 10 minutes.
6. Stiri occasionally to coat cabbage with sweet-sour mixture.
