  • 4 oz Sweet german cooking chocolate broken into 4 pieces
  • 2 1⁄3 c Sifted cake flour
  • 1 1⁄2 c Sugar
  • 1 t Baking soda
  • 1⁄2 t baking powder
  • 1⁄2 t Salt
  • 2⁄3 c Unsalted butter; softened
  • 1 c buttermilk
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 2 large Eggs
  • Coconutpecan marmalade:
  • 1 c Evaporated milk
  • 1 c Sugar
  • 3 large Egg yolk, slightly beaten
  • 1⁄2 c Unsalted butter
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1 1⁄3 c Coconut flakes
  • 1 c Pecan piece

Cooking Buttermilk Chocolate Cake w/Coconutpecan---Pt 1

1. butter three 8 inch cake pans thoroughly and line the base of each with baking parchment.
2. Rub a little more butter onto the paper.
3. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
