Butter loaf pound cake ingredients

  • 3⁄4 c butter
  • 3⁄4 c Sugar
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1 1⁄4 c Sifted flour
  • 3 Eggs (richer- use 3 yolks
  • And 1 whole)
  • 1⁄2 t baking powder
  • 1⁄2 t Salt
  • (and if batter is too thick

Cooking Butter loaf pound cake

1. Creami butter, gradually add sugar, creaming till light.
2. Add vanilla, then eggs, one at a time beating each time.
3. Sifti dry ingredients; stir in. grease bottom only of 9x5x3 in loaf pan; turn in bater.
4. Bakei at 350f for 50 minutes till done.
5. Cool in pan.
