Broccoli-Cheese Puffs ingredients

  • 8 oz Cream cheese
  • 1 c Cheddar cheese
  • 1 c broccoli floret
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 c flour
  • 1 c Milk
  • 2 T Oil
  • Corn oil

Cooking Broccoli-Cheese Puffs

1. Combine cream cheese and cheddar in a food processor process until well blended.
2. Mold 1 tablespoon cheese mixture around each floret.
3. Cover and chill for 60-90 minutes.
4. Combine egg, flour, milk, and 2 tablespoons oil-mix well.
5. Heat at least 4 inches corn oil to 365-370 degrees.
6. Dip florets in batter, allowing excess to drip off. Add to hot oil in small batches and fry for 2-3 minutes, until golden.
7. Drain on a cooling rack and blot with paper towels.
8. Serve warm.
