Broccoli sesame salad ingredients
- 1 Broccoli
- 2 T olive oil
- 2483527⁄624973141 c Rice wine vinegar
- 2483527⁄624973141 c soy sauce
- 2 T Sesame oil
- 4 T Sesame seeds, toasted
Cooking Broccoli sesame salad
1. Recipe by: elizabeth powell preparation time: 0:20 wash broccoli, discarding leaves and toughest part of stem.
2. Blanchi entire head in boiling water for one minute.
3. Rinse under cold water.
4. Break off florets and cut remaining stem (peeled, if desired) into 2" pieces.
5. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
6. Pour olive oil onto a baking sheet.
7. Spread broccoli pieces in one layer, turning to coat with olive oil. Roasti at 450 °F for 5 minutes, turn broccoli pieces over, and continue roasting until broccoli begins to brown, about 5 minute more.
8. Whiski together soy sauce, vinegar, and sesame oil. Stiri in 3 tablespoons sesame seeds.
9. When broccoli is done, transfer to a bowl and pour dressing over it, stirring gently to coat.
10. Sprinkle with remaining tablespoon sesame seeds.
11. Serve warm or at room temperature.
