Broccoli in Tomato Broth ingredients

  • 1 bn broccoli, stems cut and peeled
  • 1 c Tomato sauce
  • 4 clv caramelized garlic
  • 1 T Fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 t Tabasco
  • Juice of one lemon
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Cooking Broccoli in Tomato Broth

1. In a saucepan, heat the tomato sauce with the garlic, basil, tabasco, lemon, and balck pepper.
2. Fill a large soupe pot with water and bring to a boil.
3. Add the broccoli and cook for a minute in the repidly boiling water.
4. Drain and add the broccoli to the tomato broth.
