Bread pudding syrup

Bread pudding syrup ingredients
- 1⁄2 c Sugar
- 1⁄2 c water
- 2 1" strips
- 1⁄4 c Calvados or apple brandy or
- Other sweet, clear liqueur
- Orange zest
Cooking Bread pudding syrup
1. Mixi sugar, water, and zest in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
2. Reducei heat, cover partially and cook until the mixture is syrupy.
3. Let cool slightly, remove the zest, and add the liqueur.
4. Mix well.
5. This will keep in the refrigerator.
6. Use approximately a tablespoon per serving on bread pudding.
7. Amarettoi is also good on bread pudding.
