Brazilian hot chocolate

Brazilian hot chocolate ingredients
- 1 oz Sweet baking chocolate
- 1⁄4 c Sugar
- 1⁄8 t Salt
- 1 c Boiling water
- 1⁄2 c Hot milk
- 1⁄2 c Half & half
- 1 1⁄2 c Hot strong coffee
- 1 t pure vanilla extract
- 1⁄4 t Cinnamon; ground
Cooking Brazilian hot chocolate
1. Combine chocolate, sugar and salt in top half of a double boiler over simmering water.
2. Cook, stirring, until chocolate is melted; then stir in water.
3. Cook, stirring, 4 minutes.
4. Add milk, half & half and coffee.
5. Beat with a whisk or hand beater until frothy.
6. Add vanilla and cinnamon; whisk well.
