  • 1 kg Cabbage, white
  • 50 g Margarine, Planta (plain)
  • 100 g Onions
  • 100 g Smoked Bacon
  • 1⁄3 white stock
  • 1 seasoning (salt+pepper)
  • 1⁄50 Spice bag

Cooking Braised white cabbage

1. WASH CABBAGE CUT INTO 4cm SQUARES MELT MARGARINE IN A BRAISSIERE SAUTE DICED BACON AND CHOPPED ONIONS ADD CABBAGE AND SAUTE WELL ADD STOCK, SEASONING AND SPICE BAG BRING TO BOIL, COVER BRAISE IN OVEN FOR 45 MINUTES REMOVE SPICE BAG, ADJUST SEASONING SERVE IN A VEGETABLE DISH.
