Braised cauliflower with black bean sauce

Braised cauliflower with black bean sauce ingredients
- 1 T butter Or margarine
- 1 T Vegatable oil
- 1 med Cauliflower head
- - trimmed, cut into floweret
- 1 Scallions
- -chopped
- 2 T Black Bean Sauce
- 2 t Sesame oil
- 2 t Cornstarch
Cooking Braised cauliflower with black bean sauce
1. Heat large skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Add butter, oil and cauliflower.
3. Sautei 1 minute.
4. Add scallion, black bean sauce, sesame oil and 2/3 cup water.
5. Bring to boil.
6. Reducei heat; cover and simmer 4 to 6 minutes, or until cauliflower is tender-crisp.
7. Meanwhile, mix cornstarch with 1 tablespoon water.
8. Stiri into cauliflower; cook and stir until mixture boils and thickens.
9. Caulifloweri heat may be substituted with 1 10 oz package of frozen cauliflower, thawed and drained.
10. Simmeri only 2 to 4 minutes, or until tender-crisp.
