Black velvet ingredients

  • 2 c almonds, sliced, lightly toasted
  • 12 oz chocolate chips
  • 1 Devil's food cake mix
  • 1 pk Chocolate pudding - instant
  • -3-½ oz. package
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 c Sour cream
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c water
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Oil
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1 t Almond extract
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Cinnamon

Cooking Black velvet

1. Calories per serving: number of servings: 0 fat grams per serving: approx.
2. cook time: cholesterol per serving: marks: *directions* sprinkle ½ cup almonds on bottom of greased 10-inch tube pan. Set aside rest of almonds and chocolate chips.
3. Place remaining ingredients in mixer bowl.
4. Beat 4 minutes.
5. Foldi in chips and almonds, then pour into pan. Bakei in 350°F oven 60 to 70 minutes.
6. Cool 15 minutes and remove from pan. Serve with topping of whipped cream if desired.
7. Note from me: a nice touch would be to puncture finished cake with long-tined fork.
8. Dribble over cake about ¼ cup kahlua.
9. Then serve with sweetened whipped cream flavored with almond or vanilla extract.
