Black Bean Chili 2 ingredients
- 1 lb uncooked black beans,washed
- 1 T olive oil
- 1 onion,sliced,grilled, and chopped
- 1 Red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 rib celery,chopped
- 1 head caramelized garlic
- 2 jalapeno peppers,chopped
- 2 t Ground cumin
- 1 t Ground coriander
- 2 c Tomato sauce
- 1 c chicken broth
- 1 T cilantro,coarsely chopped
- Tabasco to taste
Cooking Black Bean Chili 2
1. Preheat a heavy duty soup pot. Add the olive oil,onion,red bell pepper,celery,garlic,and jalapenos.
2. Cook on medium heat for 2 minutes.
3. Add the cumin and coriander and cook for 1 minute.
4. Add the tomato sauce,chicken broth,balsamic vinegar, black beans, and cilantro.
5. Bring to a boil and simmer for 1. 5 to 2 hours, until the beans are tender.
