Biskotine ingredients

  • 2483527⁄624973141 c butter
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Sweet butter
  • 4 c Sifted flour *
  • 4 t baking powder
  • 6 Eggs
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 c Sugar
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1 t Brandy or Whiskey
  • 1 t Anise flavoring

Cooking Biskotine

1. Creami butter and sugar together thoroughly; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
2. Add flavorings.
3. Sifti and add dry ingredients.
4. Place dough in freezer for awhile.
5. Then shape into small loaves, about 1 inch around and place on cookie sheet.
6. Bakei at 375°F for about 25 to 30 minutes.
7. Remove from oven and cut loaves into desired thickness.
8. Lay (slices) flat on cookie sheet and lower temperature to 200°F for 15 to 20 minutes.
9. *note: i use 2 cups cake flour and 2 cups regular flour.
