Biscotti (Italian Sheet Cookies) ingredients

  • 6 Eggs
  • 1 1⁄2 c Sugar
  • 1 c Shortening melted (1/2 butter and 1/2 oil
  • 3 c flour
  • 2 t baking powder
  • 4 t Extract (anise, almond vanilla or lemon)

Cooking Biscotti (Italian Sheet Cookies)

1. Beat eggs well.
2. Add sugar, then shortening and extract.
3. Add flour and baking powder.
4. Pour into ungreased 9x13 pan. Bakei 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
5. When baked slice into 3 rows.
6. Cut ini slices.
7. Lay slices on cookie sheet and brown under broiler.
