Beef with broccoli in oyster sauce

Beef with broccoli in oyster sauce ingredients
- 1 lb Broccoli, fresh, bite size
- 3⁄4 lb Flank steak, sliced thin
- 1⁄4 c Dried Cloud Ears, soaked
- 1⁄2 c Water chestnuts, sliced
- -or bamboo shoots
- 1 c Onions, sliced, optional
- 1 t Ginger root, minced
- 1 t garlic, minced
- 1 T Rice wine
- 3⁄4 c stock
- MARINATE MEAT 20 MINUTES
- 1 T Thin soy
- 1 t Rice wine
- 1 t Sugar
- 2 t Cornstarch
- 2 t Oil
- Seasonings
- 1 T Cornstarch, dissolved in
- 1 T Cold water
- 1 T Thin soy
- 3 T Oyster sauce
- 1 t Sugar
- 1 t Sesame oil
Cooking Beef with broccoli in oyster sauce
1. Marinatei meat.
2. Set wok over high heat until hot. Add 2 tablespoons oil. Add beef.
3. Stiri fry for 2 minutes or until it shows no pink.
4. Remove and set aside.
5. Heat wok. Add 2 tablespoons oil. Add ginger, garlic and the vegetables.
6. Stir fry for 1 minute.
7. Sprinkle rice wine.
8. Pour in stock.
9. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes.
10. Add beef and all the remaining seasoning mixture.
11. Mixi well until thickened.
12. Note: for more sauce; double the stock and oyster sauce.
