Beef or Chicken Fajitas ingredients
- 1 T Vegatable oil
- 2 Red or green bell pepper
- 1 Onions
- 3 clv garlic
- 1 lb lean beef sirloin or boneless, skinless chicken breast meat
- 1 1⁄4 t Ground cumin
- 1 t Chili powder
- 1⁄2 c ORTEGA® Thick & Chunky Salsa
- 4 fajita-size tortillas
Cooking Beef or Chicken Fajitas
1. Toppings: sour cream, chopped fresh cilantro, guacamole, shredded cheddar cheese and olives.
2. HEAT oil in large nonstick skillet.
3. Add bell peppers, onion and garlic; cook, stirring occasionally, until onion is slightly golden and peppers are tender.
4. STIR in beef or chicken, cumin and chili powder; cook, stirring occasionally, until meat is no longer pink.
5. Stiri in salsa; heat through.
6. SERVE in tortillas; top with desired toppings.
