Bbq'd baby back ribs ingredients

  • DRY RUB
  • 4 t Paprika
  • 2 t Salt
  • 2 t Onion powder
  • 2 t Ground black pepper
  • 1 t Cayenne
  • Sauce-
  • 6 T Salt
  • 6 T Black pepper
  • 6 t Chili powder
  • 4 c ketchup
  • 4 c White vinegar
  • 4 c water
  • 1 Large yellow onion, diced
  • 1⁄2 c Sorghum molasses

Cooking Bbq'd baby back ribs

1. Dry rub directions: mix in jar, cover and shake well to mix. Sprinkle rub liberally over and into the surface.
2. Rib smoking directions: prepare smoker for long, slow cooking using hickory, mesquite is also very good.
3. Some people prefer to do back ribs using some of the wood of the fruit trees, apple, pear, etc. Bbq sauce directions: combine all ingredients in a large saucepan.
4. Bring to a gentle simmer.
5. Allow to cool for at least one hour to allow the flavors to blend.
