Bbq Pork Fried Rice ingredients

  • 1 c Long grain rice
  • 1 c water
  • 1 T Salt
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1⁄4 t Salt
  • 1⁄4 c Peanut oil
  • 1⁄4 c Scallions
  • 1 c pork
  • 1⁄2 c Frozen peas
  • 1⁄2 c Cashews
  • 2 T soy sauce

Cooking Bbq Pork Fried Rice

1. Combine rice, water, and 1 tablespoon salt in a saucepan allow to stand for 15 minutes.
2. Heat to a boil over a moderate flame.
3. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 17 minutes.
4. Remove from heat, cool.
5. Rub cooled rice with your hands to separate into individual grains.
6. Beat together eggs and ¼ teaspoon salt.
7. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a wok, over a high flame.
8. Add onions and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
9. Stiri in eggs and cook until softly set. Remove and set aside.
10. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in wok, over a high flame.
11. Add pork, peas, and cashews.
12. Stir-fryi for 2 minutes to heat well.
13. Remove from heat.
14. Heat remaining 2 tablespoons oil in wok, over a high flame add rice and stir-fry for 2 minutes to heat through.
15. Stir in soy sauce and pork mixture.
16. Add egg mixture and stir gently until broken into small pieces.
17. Serve hot.
