Bbq: oregano steak

Bbq: oregano steak ingredients
- 1 lb Sirloin steak, 1-in thick
- 2 t olive oil
- 2 t Dried oregano
- 1 t Cracked black peppercorns
- 1⁄2 t Coarse salt
Cooking Bbq: oregano steak
1. Slash fat around steak at 1-inch intervals.
2. Combine oil, oregano, pepper and salt; rub over both sides of steak.
3. Place steak on greased grill over medium-high heat; cover and cook, turning once, for about 15 minutes for medium-rare or to desired doneness.
4. Transfer steak to cuting board; tent with foil and let stand for 5 minutes before cutting into portions.
5. Per serving: about 140 calories, 18 g protein, 6 g fat, 1 g carbohydrate good source iron.
6. Serve with: bbq: veggie brochettes (see recipe) whole wheat rolls light caesar salad chocolate and orange parfait.
