Bavarian patties with sauerkraut

Bavarian patties with sauerkraut ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 lb Ground beef
- 1⁄3 c Bread crumbs, dry
- 1 Eggs, large
- 1⁄2 t Allspice
- 1⁄2 c Apple sauce
- 1⁄4 c Onion, Finely Chopped, 1 sm.
- 1 t Salt
- 16 oz Sauerkraut, Drained, 1 can
Cooking Bavarian patties with sauerkraut
1. Mixi all the ingredients together except the sauerkraut.
2. Shape the mixture into 6 patties, each about ¾-inch thick.
3. Browni the patties in a large skillet over medium heat, turning once.
4. Drain off the excess fat. Spoon the sauerkraut onto the patties.
5. Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes.
