BAVARIAN DINNER ingredients

  • 2 sauerkraut, bavarian style, undrained, 27 oz cans
  • 2 lb sausage, polish kielbasa, pre-cooked, cut into 3 inch pieces
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced, seperated into rings
  • 1 t chicken bouillon, instant
  • 2 t Celery seed

Cooking BAVARIAN DINNER

1. In bottom of slow cooking pot, layer 1 can sauerkraut, 1 lb sausage pieces, half the onion slices, 1/2 ts boulllon and 1/4 ts celery seed.
2. Repeat layers.
3. Cover and cook at Low for 7-9 hours or High for 3-4 hours.
4. Serve with boiled potatoes and apple raisin salad.
