Basil Bean Salad ingredients

  • 1 10oz. pkg frozen green beans
  • 1⁄2 c Onions; very thinly sliced
  • 2 T Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1 T olive oil; plus 1 tsp.
  • 3 T water
  • 1⁄8 t garlic Powder
  • 1 t Dried basil
  • 1 T Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1⁄8 t Pepper
  • Salt to taste

Cooking Basil Bean Salad

1. Cook beans according to directions, cooking until just tender-crisp.
2. Drain.
3. Combine beans and onions in a large bowl.
4. Combine remaining ingredinets and pour over beans.
5. toss until well blended.
6. Chill several hours or overnight, stirring occasionally.
