Barley, Potato and Amaranth Stew (R T) ingredients

  • 1 1⁄2 c Barley
  • 1 large Potato -- peel, chop into bite size pieces
  • 1⁄2 c Amaranth
  • 1⁄2 t garlic powder -- or to taste
  • 1 T parsley -- or to taste
  • 1⁄2 t Oregano -- or to taste
  • 1⁄2 t Marjoram -- or to taste
  • 2 c water, to cover
  • Keep Adding Water As Necessary
  • 1 c Corn, frozen
  • 1⁄2 Onion -- to taste

Cooking Barley, Potato and Amaranth Stew (R T)

1. Tossed everything in the crockpot and started it on low. Added water as necessary to make it thick like a stew.
2. I added a bit of salt at the end after I had put it in my bowl.
3. Had this with cracked wheat bread.
4. what a great meal!!.
