Barley, Potato and Amaranth Stew (R T)

- Main Ingredient: Barley Potatoes
- Preparation: Crock Pot and Slow Cooker
- Yield:
Barley, Potato and Amaranth Stew (R T) ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 c Barley
- 1 large Potato -- peel, chop into bite size pieces
- 1⁄2 c Amaranth
- 1⁄2 t garlic powder -- or to taste
- 1 T parsley -- or to taste
- 1⁄2 t Oregano -- or to taste
- 1⁄2 t Marjoram -- or to taste
- 2 c water, to cover
- Keep Adding Water As Necessary
- 1 c Corn, frozen
- 1⁄2 Onion -- to taste
Cooking Barley, Potato and Amaranth Stew (R T)
1. Tossed everything in the crockpot and started it on low. Added water as necessary to make it thick like a stew.
2. I added a bit of salt at the end after I had put it in my bowl.
3. Had this with cracked wheat bread.
4. what a great meal!!.
