Baked gefilte fish ingredients

  • 1 lb Halibut -or- Turbot Fillets
  • -fresh or frozen
  • 1 small Onions
  • 1 sli Bread, crumbled

  • 1 Eggs
  • 1 T Vegatable oil
  • 1 Onions, sliced
  • 1 Green sweet pepper, chopped
  • 8 oz Can tomato sauce

Cooking Baked gefilte fish

1. Defrost the fish, if frozen.
2. Grindi the fish and onion in a food processor.
3. Add the bread, salt, pepper and egg. Mixi well.
4. Shape into 12 balls.
5. Combine the oil, onion, green pepper and tomato sauce in a baking dish.
6. Arrange the fish balls in it, cover, and bake in a 325°F oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
7. Bastei with the sauce before serving.
