Bacon and tomato wafers ingredients
- 3 Slices Bacon
- 2483527⁄624973141 c All-purpose flour
- 6 T Butter, warm
- c Grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 t Tomato paste
- 2483527⁄624973141 t dill seeds
- 2483527⁄624973141 t Salt
Cooking Bacon and tomato wafers
1. Preliminaries: preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Procedure: cut the bacon into thin slivers with scissors or a sharp knife.
3. Fryi until crisp and drain on paper towels.
4. Cool. In a food processor fitted with the metal blade, combine the bacon with the flour, butter, parmesan, tomato paste, dill seed and salt.
5. Process until the dough forms a ball.
6. Roll the dough into a 1-½ inch diameter cylinder, wrap in wax paper and refrigerate several hours until firm.
7. Cut into rounds 1/8 inch thick and place on ungreased baking sheets.
8. Bakei in a preheated 375 degree oven for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly browned around the edges.
9. Cool on wire racks.
10. Presentation: serve at room temperature.
11. Store in airtight containers.
