Asparagus Quiche ingredients

  • 1 Basic Regular Pie Crust
  • 2483527⁄624973141 lb Swiss or Cheddar cheese -- (1/4 to 1/3)
  • 1 part Asparagus
  • dill weed
  • tarragon
  • 3 eggs -- (3 to 4)
  • Paprika
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 c Milk
  • Basic Regular Pie Crust:
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c cold butter -- (half stick) cut
  • into pieces
  • 1 c flour
  • 1 ds Salt
  • up to 3 Tbsp. cold water -- milk
  • or buttermilk

Cooking Asparagus Quiche

1. Gratei or cube cheese and place on bottom of unbaked pie crust.
2. Place chopped and steamed asparagus over cheese layer.
3. Sprinkle with a little dill weed and tarragon.
4. Beat together 3 eggs (4 eggs if using quiche pan), milk and pour over top. Dusti with paprika.
5. Bakei 35 to 40 minutes at 375 degrees.
6. Variations: Sour creami or buttermilk instead of milk.
7. Crust: Makes single crust.
8. Cut ingredients together.
9. Roll and shape to fit pan. Use with asparagus quiche recipe.
