  • 2 T Cooking oil
  • 1 Slightly Beaten Egg

  • 1 Recipe Apricot Icing

  • 2 To three teaspoons apricot
  • Nectar or orange juice

Cooking Apricot-Cardamon Bars &Amp; Apricot Icing

1. In a medium mixing bowl stir together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and cardamom or cloves; set aside.
2. Stiri together apricot nectar or orange juice, applesauce, oil, and egg till combined.
3. Sit in the snipped apricots.
4. Spread batter in an ungreased 11x7x1-1/2-inch baking pan. Bakei in a 350-degree oven about 25 minutes or till a wooden pick inserted near the center comes out clean.
5. Cool in pan on a wire rack.
6. Drizzle with Apricoti Icingi.
7. Cut into bars.
8. Makes 24 bars.
