Apple-Stuffed Turkey Tenderloins ingredients

  • 1 Apple
  • 1⁄2 c Orange juice
  • 1⁄4 c jellied cranberry sauce
  • 2 T Orange marmalade
  • 2 lb turkey tenderloin
  • 1 Large egg
  • 1 c Cornflake crumbs

Cooking Apple-Stuffed Turkey Tenderloins

1. In small saucepan combine apple, orange juice, jellied cranberry sauce and marmalade.
2. Cook until apple is soft but holds its shape.
3. Rinse tenderloins and pat dry. Slice them lengthwise, not all the way through, to form a pocket.
4. Spoon some of the apple mixture into the pocket.
5. Secure cut edges with toothpick or skewer pin. Dip tenderloins in beaten egg, and dredge in crumbs.
6. Place them in a casserole dish so that they do not touch.
7. Bakei 25 to 35 minutes at 350 °F. Heat remaining fruit mixture and serve over tenderloins.
8. Note: Use 3 turkey tenderloins of approximately the same size.
