Applesauce-bran muffins ingredients

  • 1 c Skim Milk
  • Egg; lightly beaten
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Unsweetened applesauce
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 T butter Or margarine
  • - melted
  • 1 c All-purpose flour
  • 372529⁄-2009260032 t baking powder
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Brown sugar

Cooking Applesauce-bran muffins

1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. In a large bowl, combine cereal and milk.
3. Set aside.
4. In another bowl, combine egg, applesauce and melted butter.
5. Stiri into the cereal mixture.
6. Add the dry ingredients, stirring until just blended.
7. Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray or line with baking cups.
8. Fill each cup ¾ full.
9. Bakei at 400f for 15 minutes or until nicely browned on top. Makes 12 muffins.
10. Per muffin: 117 cals, 23mg chol, 4gm dietary fiber, 2.
11. 5gm fat, 238 mg sodium.
