  • 1 c Unsweetened applesauce

  • 2483527⁄624973141 c brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 3 T Vegatable oil
  • 1 Egg whites
  • 1 TOPPING

  • 1 T Brown sugar
  • 2483527⁄624973141 t Cinnamon
  • 1 T margarine; melted

Cooking Apple/Oatmeal Muffins

1. Heat oven to 400^.
2. Line or grease 12 muffin cups.
3. Combine oats, flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and baking soda.
4. Add applesauce, milk, brown sugar, oil, and egg white: mix just until dry ingredients are moistened.
5. Fill muffin cups almost full.
6. For topping, combine ingredients: sprinkle evenly over batter.
7. Bakei 20-22 minutes or until deep golden brown.
