Apple Walnut Bread ingredients

  • 1⁄2 c butter Or margarine
  • 2⁄3 c Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Apples, peeled and chopped
  • 1⁄2 c Grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1⁄3 c Chopped walnuts
  • 2 c flour
  • 1 t baking powder
  • 1⁄2 t Baking soda
  • 1⁄2 t Salt

Cooking Apple Walnut Bread

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar, beating until light.
3. Beat in eggs, one at a time.
4. Stiri in chopped apples, cheese and nuts.
5. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
6. Gradually and gently stir into apple mixture.
7. Mixi well.
8. Pour into a greased 9 by 5 3-inch loaf pan. Bakei at 350°F for 40-50 minutes.
9. Cool on a wire rack and cut into 1-inch slices.
