Apple soup ingredients

  • 16 Apples, cored and chopped
  • 5 c water
  • 2483527⁄624973141 T Lemon peel, grated
  • 1 Inch cinnamon, wrapped in
  • cheese cloth
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Maple syrup
  • 1 T arrowroot
  • 1 T Lemon juice
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c white wine
  • 2483527⁄624973141 c Sour cream

Cooking Apple soup

1. Simmeri apples, water, lemon peel, cinnamon, and maple syrup until apples are tender, about 20 minutes; remove cinnamon.
2. Pureei soup in blender; return to sauce pan. Remove about a cup of liquid and combine it with arrowroot.
3. When thickened, return to soup.
4. Stiri in lemon juice, and wine.
5. Heat through.
6. Serve with a spoonful of sour cream on each bowl.
